Bocconi's minimum is 1040 overall, with at least 520 in each SAT section. That is an eligibility rule, not a target score. Bocconi does not publish a score that guarantees admission.
For the Mathematical and Computing Sciences for Artificial Intelligence program, Bocconi also requires at least 600/800 in SAT Math.
How Bocconi evaluates your SAT
For 2027–28 undergraduate admission, Bocconi states that the selection ranking uses only two components:
Recommendation letters, motivational letters, CVs, and résumés are not included in the undergraduate selection score. A high SAT can strengthen the 55% test component, but it cannot be interpreted without the GPA component.
Minimum SAT score versus a competitive score
The official numbers—1040 total and 520 per section—are screening minimums. Bocconi does not publish a score that guarantees admission to BIEM, BIEF, BEMACS, BAI, BIG, BESS, or another program.
A score can clear Bocconi's formal minimum and still rank below the available places in a competitive round. Online claims that a particular SAT score is “guaranteed” are not official cutoffs.

Bocconi does not use SAT superscores
Bocconi says it considers the highest overall score from a single sitting when an applicant has taken the SAT multiple times. It does not combine section scores from different test dates.
SAT, ACT, and the Bocconi Test are alternative routes
For undergraduate programs, Bocconi accepts the SAT, ACT, or Bocconi Online Test. Bocconi says these routes are equalized through an internal conversion system based on comparative percentile tables.
Your score must be submitted correctly
Applicants using the SAT must include the score report in the application and provide confirmation that Bocconi was designated as a score recipient through College Board by the relevant application deadline.

How GPA changes the answer
Bocconi uses the third-last and second-last years of secondary school and converts the relevant grades to its ten-point scale through the application portal. Because GPA is 45% of the ranking, there is no responsible answer to “Is my SAT enough?” without considering both parts of the profile.
This is also why two applicants with the same SAT can receive different outcomes—and why historical admission reports should be treated as context rather than a cutoff table.

Is a 1400 SAT enough for Bocconi?
Bocconi does not publish a guaranteed cutoff. A 1400 should be evaluated together with your Bocconi-scale GPA, target program, admission round, and the competitiveness of that year's pool.
Is a 1500 SAT guaranteed admission?
No. A strong SAT improves the test component, but admission still depends on the full ranking and available places. No SAT score published by Chance Me should be interpreted as a guarantee.
Can I submit both the SAT and Bocconi Test?
Yes. Bocconi's current admissions page says applicants with more than one accepted test result can upload the reports and the admission portal will use the highest result for the ranking.
Does Bocconi consider extracurricular activities?
For the standard 2027–28 undergraduate selection described by Bocconi, the evaluation is based on the selection test and GPA. Additional documents such as CVs, motivation letters, and recommendation letters are not considered in the ranking.
