The official eligibility minimum is 17 out of 50, including penalties. A score below 17 is not considered in the 2027–28 selection process. Reaching 17 does not mean the score is competitive and does not guarantee admission.
If BAI is among your choices, Bocconi also requires at least 11 out of 24 in the Mathematics area.
Bocconi Test format for 2027–28
The standard Bocconi Online Test contains 24 Mathematics, 11 Reading Comprehension, 6 Numerical Reasoning, and 9 Critical Thinking questions. Questions are mixed by topic and difficulty.
How the Bocconi Test is scored
Critical Thinking questions with only three answer options carry a −0.33 penalty for a wrong answer. The 17/50 eligibility threshold is calculated after penalties.
Bocconi does not publish a guaranteed competitive Bocconi Test score. Claims that a particular result guarantees BIEM, BIEF, BEMACS, BAI, BIG, BESS, or another program are not official cutoffs.

For 2027–28 undergraduate admission, Bocconi states that the selection test contributes 55% of the ranking and GPA from the third-last and second-last years contributes 45%.
The Bocconi Online Test, SAT, and ACT are alternative selection-test routes. Bocconi says results are equalized internally using comparative percentile tables, so raw scores from different tests should not be compared point for point.
Attempts, fee, and choosing a result
You may take up to four attempts per test type during the official availability period. Bocconi lists a registration fee of €60 per attempt. Attempts cannot be taken on the same day or on consecutive days.
The result is shown immediately after the test, while the official score report is normally available within 48 hours. The application process lets you select the valid attempt you want to use; it is not added to an application automatically.
Dates for international applicants
For 2027–28, international applicants can book from July 13, 2026 through January 19, 2027. Bocconi lists September 24, 2026 as the example last test date for Early Session and January 21, 2027 for Winter Session, subject to availability and booking at least 48 hours in advance.
Application deadlines are later than the corresponding test windows. Plan ahead and verify the live official calendar before purchasing or booking.
